MISA Energy Ghana Ltd Launches First Rebranded Service Station at Weija

Accra, Ghana –22nd August, 2025 – MISA Energy Ghana Ltd proudly launched its first rebranded service station at McCarthy in the Weija area, marking a historic milestone in the company’s journey as a distinctly Ghanaian-led energy brand with continental ambitions.

The unveiling event was graced by the Chief Executive Officer of MISA Energy Ghana Ltd, Mr. Brent Nartey, alongside esteemed dignitaries, including Nana Owiredu DankyiSuperintendent Turkson (SCC Commander)Mr. Felix Asare (Babona – CEO of Babona Group of Companies)Mr. Nana Oppong – Former Greater Accra Regional Security Coordinator, and Engineer Justice Oteng.

Activities for the day featured the unveiling of the newly branded pylon, a guided tour of the service station’s facilities, as well as the distribution of souvenirs to customers and members of the Weija community.

In his keynote address, CEO Mr. Brent Nartey highlighted the significance of the rebrand and the choice of Weija as the first rebranded retail outlet:

“Today’s event is more than an unveiling; it is a celebration of growth, commitment, and partnership. The Babona Service Station will go down in history as the first MISA-branded station, not just in Ghana but in Africa. We were intentional about this choice because of the station’s strategic location, its reputation for exceptional service, and the values of our cherished dealer, Mr. Felix Asare, whom we have partnered with for over 17 years.”
