As part of our commitment to putting people first, MISA Energy is proud to support Operation Smile Ghana in its work to provide life-changing cleft care to children and individuals living with cleft conditions. For us, this is more than a CSR initiative, it’s about giving people another reason to smile, and it’s far from the first time we’ve shown up for this cause. For close to a decade, MISA Energy has stood alongside Operation Smile Ghana, and this partnership continues to be one we’re proud to grow.

A Smile Can Change Everything

Living with a cleft condition can present challenges that go far beyond what we see on the surface. Access to appropriate treatment can improve eating, speech, confidence and overall quality of life. Through its work in Ghana, Operation Smile brings together medical professionals and volunteers to provide specialised cleft care, with surgery forming part of a broader approach to treatment and support. MISA Energy is honoured to play a part in that journey.

Seeing Our CSR Impact First-Hand

On 18 September 2026, members of the MISA Energy team had another opportunity to experience this work first-hand, witnessing the dedication, precision and teamwork behind cleft surgery and gaining a deeper appreciation for what happens behind every successful procedure.

It was a powerful experience. Seeing medical professionals work together to transform a patient’s life brought our CSR commitment into sharper focus, this is what putting people first looks like.

Saluting the Heroes Behind the Mission

While MISA Energy is proud to support this cause, we recognise that creating these life-changing moments takes a village. We celebrate the Ghanaian and international surgeons, nurses, anaesthetists, paediatricians, therapists, medical teams, students and volunteers who give their expertise, time and energy to this work, some travelling across the world to serve, others volunteering locally; some in the operating theatre, others providing care, coordination, documentation and support behind the scenes. Each contribution matters.
