Brent Nartey is a seasoned corporate leader and strategic visionary at the forefront of Ghana’s energy industry. As Chief Executive Officer of MISA Energy Ghana Ltd. (formerly Engen Ghana Ltd.), he brings over two decades of exceptional leadership experience in the downstream petroleum sector. Under his direction, the company is redefining excellence in energy delivery, local empowerment, and sustainable business practices.
Renowned as the only Ghanaian currently leading a multinational Oil Marketing Company in Ghana, Brent is a trailblazer with a distinguished track record in transforming businesses, driving operational efficiency, and delivering strong, sustainable growth. His leadership spans critical areas of the energy value chain, having previously held senior roles, including Supply & Distribution Manager, Retail Manager, Business Process Improvement Manager, and Finance Manager.

Mr. Nartey is deeply committed to innovation, performance, and integrity, and is widely respected for his ability to lead high-performing teams, inspire change, and build enduring partnerships. His influence extends beyond corporate leadership; he has played a pivotal role in shaping the industry’s future through governance and policy engagement. He served on the Board of the Association of Oil Marketing Companies (AOMC) and currently sits on the Board of Trustees of the NBC Ghana Fund. He also serves as Executive Director of Mocoh Ghana Ltd., a critical player in the broader energy ecosystem.

Education & Professional Qualifications

Brent holds a Bachelor’s degree from the University of Ghana, a Master’s degree in Finance from the University of Leicester, and a Master’s in Management Information Systems from Henley Business School, University of Reading. He is a Chartered Accountant and a certified Business Analyst by the BCS Chartered Institute for IT.
